Cozy and the food was delicious

Extraordinary location with very nice, attentive service and great service. The food was legendary good - and we had a real, critical cook with us - and freshly prepared, nothing with ready-made sauce, everything was fresh (the autumn vegetables with dip were particularly delicious for the veggies!) And that also takes time if you cook it fresh, just like at home! Since we wanted to sit outside, we were pampered with a fire basket and blankets, there was unlimited wood to stoke up, good whiskey ... you can stand it outdoors even during Corona times. Bärbel is very nice, funny people and an extremely cool sock. We'd love to come back and tell everyone about it :-)

Very pleasant and rustic location - and the wheat beer tastes great!

Plenty of food for a good price. The arbor (beer garden) seems a bit improvised, but is rustic. Highlight the man don't annoy you table. Very dedicated and bustling matron who has everything under control! It's just a pity that the street goes right in front of the house.

Service underground, food too salty We have reserved a table for four people in the evening. The drinks were at the table after about 20 minutes. We wanted to place an order for the food with the drinks. The waitress made us wait another 10 minutes until they came back and took the order, four schnitzel. Then we didn't see anything from the waitress for the next 45 minutes. The drinks have run out in the meantime. When asked at the counter whether she could give an estimate of how long the food would still need, she turned around and ran into the kitchen without a word. Then she came out and said the schnitzel was already in the pan, 3 minutes. After another 5 minutes the side salads came. The drinks had long been empty, but no new ones were offered. With four of the same meals one could expect four of the same salads. Apart from the rickety lettuce leaves, the ingredients were put together quite differently, some with tomatoes, some without, and also with the carrots. After another 10 minutes, 90 minutes after arriving at the place, and allegedly 15 minutes in the pan, the schnitzel came with the words that they were already here. When asked again about the waiting time, there were excuses that everything was fresh and busy, but no excuse for the fact that the order was obviously forgotten. Parts of the empty glasses were cleared away, again no demand for new drinks. Now we just wanted to eat and then leave. The schnitzel was actually made in the pan and also juicy, but the breading was hopelessly too salty. We ate, nobody finished, paid at the counter and left the restaurant with the feeling that we had swallowed too much salt water.

Great location. Nice to sit outside. Service very courteous and attentive. Large selection of dishes. Everything fresh and rich in taste. Very happy again.

Abnormally delicious food, very friendly warm staff and a dream of beer garden and restaurant. Very romantic and cozy right next to the Rhine. We will definitely come back here.

Super nice cozy restaurant. You won't find any fine dining here but that can't be the expectation. If you're looking for a cozy restaurant with individual atmosphere, this is great. Semi regular live music. Take the time to take a trip to the rhine, just 50m or so away. During rhine floods this may be closed due to the water reaching the house.

It is always nice to be here. Super friendly and you feel right at home. And the food is always rustic good and tasty.

What a night, this is a really cosy pub with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. It was quiz night and I was made to feel,very much, at home and included in all the fun. The landlord and landlady both came to our table making sure that we were comfortable and were enjoying our night.
